Message of appreciation
[edit]Interesting pages, well done! What I have to say is just a minor thing: In German (as, I think, in French), titles (of songs, books, etc.) are not automatically capitalized. For example, it should read "Zwei kleine Italiener" rather than "Zwei Kleine Italiener" (which in German looks really weird). Is this important, or is there some agreement that, as this is the English version of Wikipedia, capitals are okay? --KF 14:46 Feb 9, 2003 (UTC)
As i don't knwo much about foreign languages i just capatalised all (even English) first letters. You may chaneg it if you understand what should be capaatlised etc. -fonzy
- Okay, I'll do so whenever I come across a title (rather than doing it systematically). I'm looking forward to the years 1963ff. --KF 15:31 Feb 9, 2003 (UTC)
Ole Mortensen
[edit]Ole Mortensen is given as both commentator and spokesperson for Denmark. His role as a commentator seems to be properly sourced, the spokespersons seem unsourced. The Denmark country page says that Mortensen was spokesperson, and that Skat Nørrevig was commentator, without any sources. Should Mortensen in the role as spokesperson be removed ? --EurovisionLibrarian (talk) 15:00, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
- A lot of the spokesperson content on Wikipedia is unsourced, and most likely should be removed unless a reliable source can be found to verify the claims. The same is still true for the commentators for a lot of articles on here. I spent a good deal trying to find reliable sources for the broadcasts sections, and I do have aspirations to do the same for the jury spokspersons, however you are correct that unsourced information on spokesperson should be removed.
