[edit]Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.
Education
[edit]I've been working on improving the article on Spotsylvania County Public Schools. I've also tried transcluding the lead information from the schools article into this one. I believe that the detailed information (list of schools, etc) can be removed from this article in lieu of the article on schools. 14:43, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- I propose that the list of schools be deleted but, now that I look at it, the information about schools NOT under the auspices of Spotsylvania County Public Schools will have to remain (private schools, higher education). Wikipelli Talk 14:46, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Etymology
[edit]I was trying to figure out the source of the name. A little web search suggests that it's a pun on Alexander Spotswood (sylvania = forest = wood). I didn't find an RS, though. Would be interesting to add to the article if sourceable. --Trovatore (talk) 21:48, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
